XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane by Dow is glycidoxy (epoxy) functional methoxy silane-based adhesion promoter. It improves adhesion of organic resins to inorganic surfaces.

The epoxy group has a reactivity similar to that of organic epoxides.
It increases composite wet and dry tensile- & flexural strength and modulus, wet and dry compressive strength.
XIAMETER™ OFS-6040 Silane exhibits better appearance, filler wet-out and dispersion while lowering viscosity of filled liquid resins and improved processability.
