Endex™ 155 Hydrocarbon Resin by Eastman Chemical Company is a water-white thermoplastic resin made from purified aromatic hydrocarbon monomers. Acts as a melt flow modifier and heat stabilizer. Exhibits heat stability, pure aromatic monomer composition, very high softening point. Reinforces the styrene end blocks of styrenic block copolymers. Compatible with polystyrene or styrene-containing polymers. Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic, & chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters & ketones. For low or zero VOC systems, Endex™ 155 is soluble in the VOC exempt solvents t-butyl acetate (TBA) and perchlorobenzenetetrafluoride (PCBTF) and will tolerate some acetone and/or methyl acetate as a diluent in solvent systems based on TBA and/or PCBTF. Applications include caulks, sealants, hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, solventborne adhesives, tapes and labels. Listed on TSCA, DSL, AICS/ NICNAS, MITI, ECL, PICCS and IECSC.
