Endex™ 160 Hydrocarbon Resin by Eastman Chemical Company is a water-white colored thermoplastic resin made from purified aromatic hydrocarbon monomers. Acts as a melt flow modifier and heat stabilizer. Exhibits heat stability and very high softening point. Reinforces the styrene end blocks of styrenic block copolymers. Compatible with polystyrene or styrene-containing polymers. Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic, & chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters & ketones. For low or zero VOC systems, Endex™ 160 Hydrocarbon Resin by Eastman Chemical Company is soluble in the VOC exempt solvents t-butyl acetate (TBA) and perchlorobenzenetetrafluoride (PCBTF) and will tolerate some acetone and/or methyl acetate as a diluent in solvent systems based on TBA and/or PCBTF. Applications include caulks, sealants, hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, solventborne adhesives, tapes and labels. Listed on TSCA, DSL, AICS/ NICNAS, MITI, ECL, PICCS and IECSC.
