Picco™ 5140

Picco™ 5140 by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, non-polar hydrocarbon resin produced from petroleum derived aromatic monomers. It is brittle and possesses high softening point. Shows a good balance of tack, adhesion, tear and flex properties when compounded with an appropriate elastomer. Exhibits resistance to acid, alkali and water. Picco™ 5140 is used in caulks & sealants, contact adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, hot-melt adhesives and solvent-borne adhesives.
