Piccotac™ 1020-E Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low molecular weight tackifier. It is based on aliphatic monomers of petroleum origin. Exhibits good heat and light stability. Possesses an excellent balance of tack and adhesive properties to systems blended with elastomers. Shows excellent adhesion to styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers. Piccotac™ 1020-E Hydrocarbon Resin is used in hot-melt adhesives, packaging, pressure sensitive and solvent-borne adhesives.
