Piccotac™ 1098

Piccotac™ 1098 by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin derived largely from mixed monomers of petroleum origin. Acts as tackifier designed for hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive and solvent-borne adhesives. Exhibits good color stability, good peel and tack properties. Offers excellent heat resistance and wide compatibility & solubility. Shows good adhesion to natural rubber based adhesives and styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers. Piccotac™ 1098 is stabilized by addition of 0.10% antioxidant.
