Piccotac™ 1100-E by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, aliphatic (C5) hydrocarbon resin derived mainly from dienes and other reactive monomers. It functions as a tackifier. Exhibits excellent color and color stability. Possesses good peel and tack properties. Shows excellent adhesion to natural rubber based adhesives and limited compatibility with styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers. Piccotac™ 1100-E is used in solvent-borne adhesives, hot-melt and pressure sensitive adhesives.
