Piccotac™ 1100 by Synthomer is an aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin used as a tackifier. Possesses excellent peel and tack properties. Offers good adhesion to natural rubber based adhesives and good color & color stability. Shows limited compatibility with styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers. Used in hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive and solvent-borne adhesives. Piccotac™ 1100 is stabilized by addition of 0.10% antioxidant.
