Poly-Pale™ by Synthomer is a partially polymerized (dimerized) rosin used as a tackifier. It is alcohol-soluble, non-crystalline with high softening point. Offers resistance to oxidation and thermoplastic rosin acid. Used in assembly, bookbinding, caulks, sealants, contact adhesives, footwear, leather and hot-melt adhesives. Poly-Pale™ is also used in laminating, nonwovens, packaging, pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent-borne adhesives, tapes, labels, wax modification, wire and cable.
