EE 340 by eChem is polyethyleneglycol stearate. Acts as a plasticizer as well as a viscosity modifier. Manufactured by reacting a polyethylene glycol with stearic acid. It is oil soluble and water dispersible. Offers good wetting and dispersion properties along with low foaming tendency. EE 340 is hydrolyzed under hot alkaline conditions. Recommended for adhesives.
