BENTONE® 34 by Elementis is an organic derivative of bentonite clay used as a rheological additive. It provides increased viscosity & thixotropy, improved flow and leveling. It prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems. Suitable for low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It controls the sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates. It is used in adhesives, putty & caulking compounds, underbody sealants and sound-absorbing compounds. BENTONE® 34 has a shelf life of 4 years.
