BENTONE® OC by Elementis acts as a rheological additive based on untreated hectorite clay with a defined particle size. It is designed for cost-effective thickening and control of workability & flow of mineral-based construction systems. It offers improved ease of application, surface softness & smoothness, increased sag resistance and reduced sedimentation & bleeding. BENTONE® OC is used in tile adhesives. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-3%. It has a shelf life of 4 years.
