RHEOLATE® 299 by Elementis is a 25% active, APEO- and tin-free polyether polyurethane-based associative thickener. It is a pH independent, highly efficient viscosity builder in the low- to mid-shear rate range. Imparts strongly shear thinning flow behavior. Exhibits excellent sag resistance, anti-settling behavior, flow and levelling properties. Used in aqueous sealants at a dosage level of 0.1-1.5 %wt. Shelf life of RHEOLATE® 299 is 2 years.
