RHEOLATE® 420

RHEOLATE® 420 is a proprietary economical, versatile, alkali-swellable thickener. Offers high shear rate viscosity, enzyme resistance and greater brush drag. Designed to fully or partially replace cellulosic thickeners in water-borne adhesives and sealants. Provides high thickening efficiency in medium-shear rate range and an excellent balance between sag resistance as well as leveling properties. Compatible with clay-based, cellulosic and associative thickeners. RHEOLATE® 420 has a shelf life of 2 years. The typical levels of use is 420 are 0.3 % to 1.0 % in paints or inks and up to 9.0% in adhesives and sealants.
