RHEOLATE® 450

RHEOLATE® 450 is a hydrophobically modified alkali swellable emulsion by Elementis. It is used as a thickener in adhesives and sealants. Provides superior spatter resistance, both mid-high shear rate viscosity with balanced performance for superior package and application properties. Shows exceptional package appearance, reduced syneresis, alkyd-like flow and leveling. Offers improved moisture resistance over other acrylic and cellulosic thickeners, excellent brush drag and improved hiding on roll-out. RHEOLATE® 450 has a shelf life of one and one-half years. Typical usage level is 9%.
