THIXATROL® ST

THIXATROL® ST by Elementis is an organically modified castor oil derivative used as a rheological additive. Increases the viscosity and provides thixotropy. It contributes to pigment suspension and provides sag control. It controls penetration into porous substrates. Imparts excellent package stability and reproducibility. THIXATROL® ST is used in caulks, mastics, adhesives and sealants with the dosage level of 0.2-0.8%. It has a shelf life of 4 years.
