HYPRO® 1300X21 ATBN

HYPRO® 1300X21 ATBN by Huntsman is an amine-terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It is ideal for chain-extending epoxies and its amine structure is based on N-aminoethylpiperazine (N-AEP). Its acrylonitrile content varies from zero to 26% which directly affects the solubility and glass transition temperature (Tg) of the materials. This reactive polymer is a 100% solid liquid rubber which is used to improve the adhesion, toughness, flexibility and impact resistance of thermoset resin system including vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics as well as urethanes. HYPRO® 1300X21 ATBN also increases low-temperature mechanical properties. Used in structural adhesive paste.
