K-FLEX® 800

K-FLEX® 800 by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is glycol dibenzoate ester. It acts as a plasticizer. It is used in latex adhesives and caulks, hot melt adhesives, in the packaging industry for carton sealing, forming, for bookbinding and labeling, in textiles, for fibers as well as non-woven fabrics. It is also used in construction - to form decorative wall panels, window frames, and other products as well in the production of mastics and caulking compounds and other applications such as furniture, luggage, shoes, and cigarette tipping. It possesses solution viscosity-enhancing properties. K-FLEX® 800 offers benefits such as reduced set times, increased open times, increased film flexibility, reduced heat sealing temperatures, and improved dried film’s resistance to oil, grease, and water.
