EurikaThix 5090

EurikaThix 5090 by Eurikas is a wax for use as a rheological additive in mastics, adhesives and in particular those based upon cross-linkable polyether-silanes. It imparts pseudoplastic flow behavior as well as thixotropy such that the viscosity at high shear rates is lower which helps with the flow properties of the composition during application. It also enhances the yield value of compositions preventing sedimentation of filler constituents in storage. EurikaThix 5090 is incorporated in compositions typically using a vacuum capable planetary mixer equipped with a high speed dissolver disc and wall scraper. Recommended dosage is 0.5-2.5%.
