YT 315

YT 315 by Pinopine is a glycerol ester of gum rosin. It is used as a tackifier. It offers outstanding tack, excellent thermal resistance and oxidation resistance due to low abietic acid content. It shows good compatibility with EVA, SIS, SBS, SBR, natural rubber, butyl rubber, neoprene, hydrocarbons and terpene resins. YT 315 is suitable for use in hot melts and pressure-sensitive adhesives. It complies with code of federal regulation, title 21 under section 175.105 adhesives. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
