Crosslinker AC 15 by Evonik is methyl and ethyl triacetoxy silane mixture. It is used as a crosslinker for producing moisture-curing silicone sealants. Using this compound, hydroxy-fictionalized silicone polymers (Polymer OH) are crosslinked to obtain silicone elastomers under the effect of a catalyst and moisture. Crosslinker AC 15 provides adhesion on many substrates, transparency and offers low reactivity.
