Surfynol® AS 5020

Surfynol® AS 5020 by Evonik is a non-ionic, low-foam, dynamic wetting agent and molecular defoamer. It is a 100% active, easy-to handle liquid that contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). It provides surface tension reduction and enhances rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. It enables wetting of low-energy and contaminated substrates. Surfynol® AS 5020 is used in latex dipping, flexible food packaging adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives. Its recommended usage is between 0.1 and 1.5% of total formulation weight. It is in compliance with FDA and food contact regulations of US, Europe and Asia. It has a shelf life of 60 months.
