Escorez™ 2173 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a narrow molecular weight aromatic modified aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. It gives excedllent compatiblity with natural and synthetic rubber and with EVA copolymer. It provides low viscosity and highly flexible plasticized blends having good adhesion to difficult surfaces. Escorez™ 2173 is used as a tackifier SBS elastomers.
