Light-colored glycerol ester of rosin. Possesses low odor and good polymer compatibility (EVA, EEA, SIS, SBS, SBR, rubber, neoprene, acrylic, LMW polyethylene, amorphous polypropylene) and compatibility with phthalate and polyester plasticizers, alkyds, hydrocarbon resins and terpene resins. Used as a tackifier in adhesives and sealants. Provides good heat stability. Applications : hot melt adhesives, construction adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent-borne natural rubber and/or SBR adhesives, solvent-borne acrylic adhesives, sealants.
