GABEPRO™ GPE-221

GABEPRO™ GPE-221 by Huntsman is 3, 4– epoxycyclohexylmethyl-3' 4'– epoxycyclohexanecarboxylate. Acts as rheology modifier. It is a cycloaliphatic, diepoxy functional compound and the combination of aliphatic backbone, high oxirane content, and no halogens which gives resins with low viscosity, weatherablility, low dielectric constant as well as high cured Tg. Used in laminating adhesives and in various applications like electrical as well as electronic component encapsulation, as acid scavenger for vinyl-based transformer fluids and lubricating oils, insulating sealants for semiconductors, transparent insulating sealants for optoelectronics.
