Plasthall® DIDA

Diisodecyl adipate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is the highest molecular weight member of the monomeric adipate ester series. Compatible with cellulose acetate butyrate, ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, polychloroprene, polyvinyl butyral and polyvinyl chloride. It is outstanding among the adipate diesters for low volatility and resistance to extraction by soaps as well as detergents. The improved permanence of Plasthall® DIDA however, is gained at a slight sacrifice in efficiency and compatibility. It is generally used in plasticizer blends where benefits of its excellent low-temperature properties and improved permanence can be utilized without any sacrifice in performance. Used in low viscosity plastisols.
