Plasthall® P-7046

Polyester glutarate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is a medium to high molecular weight polyester having a medium viscosity. It allows easy handling, yet has most of the advantages of the extremely high viscosity polymeric plasticizers. Compatible with chlorosulfonated polyethylene, EPDM, epichlorohydrin, nitrile and polyvinyl chloride. Offers a good balance of low volatility, resistance to extraction by organic fluids, and a low tendency to migrate to polystyrene as well as ABS substrates. Also offers better resistance to oxidative and hydrolytic attack than other polymeric plasticizers. Used in gaskets applications.
