HELOXY™ Modifier BD by Westlake Epoxy is a viscosity reduced modifier. It acts as a reactive diluent for liquid epoxy resins. It is a diglycidyl ether of 1,4-butanediol. It improves the wetting characteristics and facilitates the air release. It reduces the viscosity while maintaining most cured state properties. Its main fields of application are formulated, low-viscous epoxy resins with good leveling and surfaces properties. HELOXY™ Modifier BD is used in adhesives.
