Higree™ GV100

Higree™ GV100 by Higree Chemical is C9 hydrocarbon resin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a low molecular weight resin which is produced from aromatic petroleum-derived monomers. It is compatible with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), C5 resin and wax. Offers good holding as well as cohesive power, low volatility, good transparency, light color, low VOC, good chemical stability and excellent resistant to acid, alkalis as well as moisture. It also has good balance of tear, flex, and adhesion properties in polymer bases such as styrene block copolymers (SIS, SBS and SEBS). It enhances wetness in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) which is composed by tackify resin, modified elastomers, plasticizer, filler and solvent. Higree™ GV100 is used in contact adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, tapes and labels applications.
