Higree™ GV130

C9 hydrocarbon resin. Acts as a tackifier. It is produced from aromatic petroleum-derived monomers. Higree™ GV130 is compatible with mineral oils, vegetable oils, plasticizers, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), C5 resin and wax. Offers low volatility, solubility in major solvents, good holding as well as cohesive power, low molecular weight distribution parameters, good transparency, light color, low VOC, good chemical stability and excellent resistant to acid, alkalis as well as moisture. It enhances wetness in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) which is composed by tackify resin, modified elastomers, plasticizer, filler and solvent. It can be used in base polymers such as styrene block copolymers (SIS, SBS and SEBS) and also in applications like contact adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, tapes, labels.
