Hitac RA-15W

Hitac RA-15W by Hitac Adhesives and Coatings is polyurethane release agent. Yields easy to moderate unwind. Its release properties are virtually identical to carbamate PVODC. No heating needed for processing. Stable at all temperatures (ambient and even below freezing temperatures) and concentrations of solutions. It is an enhanced water-based release version of RA-13W. Compatible with substrates such as film, t-PP, t-PE, PET, PVC, paper, saturated paper. Effective release in polyethylene-backed diaper fastening tapes with adhesives based on SIS block copolymers, SIS/SBR, SBR, natural rubber and acrylics. Shows an effective release in polyester, vinyl and filament tape constructions also. It is a release coating for hot-melt and solvent-borne pressure sensitive tapes, labels, and films. Hitac RA-15W is highly recommended for premium OPP packaging tapes with SIS-base block copolymer pressure sensitive adhesives.
