Hitac RA-21S

Hitac RA-21S by Hitac Adhesives and Coatings is polyurethane release agent. Offers more consistent release and other significant improvements over other liquid release agents. It has high solids content with a lower flash point as it is pre-dissolved in xylene by simple dilution method. Saves time, labor, heat, mechanical energy, quality control, VOC-emission, workers exposure to toluene, fire hazard and dusting. No heating needed for processing. Stable at all temperatures (ambient and even below freezing temperatures) and concentrations of solutions. It is marketed at a considerably lower price. Clear tan liquid, compatible with substrates such as film, t-PP, t-PE, PET, PVC, paper, saturated paper. Functional for tapes with most types of adhesives, including SIS, SIS/SB, SBR, natural rubber and acrylic based adhesives, and most backings, such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, PVC and paper. It is a release coating for hot-melt and solvent-borne pressure sensitive tapes, labels, and films. Hitac RA-21S is highly recommended for premium OPP packaging tapes with SIS-base block copolymer pressure sensitive adhesives.
