A-C® 400

A-C® 400 by Honeywell acts as an adhesion promoter and rheology modifier. It is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer with a vinyl acetate content of 13% used extensively in hot-melt adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) to control rheology and boost adhesion to various substrates. It can be added as a diluent, offering dual function of reducing application viscosity at melt. Also acts as a compatibilizer & reduces processing time, lowers application temperature and prevents oil migration. It is completely miscible in EVA adhesive resins. It is also used in candles to provide paraffin crystal nucleation, which increases thermal and breakage resistance. It is applicable for hygienic, packaging, bookbinding, wood-working, construction, tape & label. A-C® 400 complies with IECSC, NZIoC, KECI and FDA indirect food additive approved grade.
