A-C® 400A by Honeywell is an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer with a vinyl acetate content of 13% used extensively in hot melt adhesives (HMAs) to control rheology and boost adhesion to various substrates. It can be added as a diluent, offering dual function of reducing application viscosity at melt. A-C® 400A is completely miscible in EVA adhesive resins. Can be applied in candles to provide paraffin crystal nucleation which raises thermal and breakage resistance, adhesion to glass and fragrance retention.
