A-C® 575P

A-C® 575P by Honeywell is an ethylene maleic anhydride copolymer grade, acting as compatibilizers with a wide range of hot melt adhesive raw materials. Functionalization of a non-polar polyethylene with maleic anhydride provides the low molecular weight copolymer with non-polar and polar characteristics. This produces adhesion and tack to traditional polar surfaces such as steel, aluminum or glass and also to difficult surfaces such as vinyl, polypropylene and other polyolefins. A-C® 575P exhibits excellent thermal and color stability due to their low levels of ungrafted oligomeric maleic anhydride.
