OS® 2200 by Honeywell is a vinyl tris (methyl isobutylketoxime) silane grade in the form of clear to light yellow combustible liquid exhibiting typical smell of MIBKO. Acts as a crosslinking agent for silicone sealants and adhesives. It readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. It is typically used in combination with other oxime silanes (MEKO- or MIBKO-based) to fine tune the cure-profile of the sealant in order to provide crack resistant properties to polycarbonate. OS® 2200 has a shelf life of 12 months.
