Araldite® DY-D

Araldite® DY-D is a difunctional reactive diluent for epoxy resins by Huntsman. Chemically based on diglycidylether of butanediol. Shows a fair to good reduction of viscosity, elimination of exudation, slight decrease of reactivity and improved processability. Possesses clearly improved flexibility and practically no reduction of hardness. Provides poor warm-water & acid resistance as well as high resistance to solvents and ammonia. Araldite® DY-D is used in exterior vehicle (OEM), interior vehicle (OEM), vehicle assembly (OEM), structural assembly, battery cover sealing & battery assembly, cable sealing, motor and magnet bonding, poting and encapsulating, assembly, thermally & electrically conductive, household appliance assembly, sporting goods, medical device assembly, aircraft & aerospace, marine, rail, recreational vehicle, truck, sport & leisure and wind applications.
