ERISYS® GE-21

ERISYS® GE-21 by Huntsman is low viscosity, aliphatic, diepoxide, epoxidized butanediol. It is used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins in adhesives. It possesses compatibility at all concentrations with those resins and any epoxy resin curing agent. It improves chemical and heat resistance. It does not effect pot life of pre-catalyzed epoxy resin/acid anhydride formulations. It provides very good wettability, low moisture, hydrolyzable chloride and residual epichlorohydrin contents and very low color. ERISYS® GE-21 is recommended for applications such as concrete, civil engineering, laminating, assembly and structural adhesives.
