Esacure KB1 by IGM Resins is benzil dimethyl ketal based photoinitiator. It provides very good cure rate, dark storage stability (shelf life) even at high dosage rate, minimal variation in color and low degree of odor. It is suitable for photopolymerization of UV-curable systems based on acrylated oligomers and monomers and polyester-styrene resins. Esacure KB1 is suitable for use in adhesives and putties. Its suggested dosage level is 0.5-5% by weight.
