Polarite® 403A by Imerys is a surface treated calcined kaolin for use with peroxide and other free radical crosslinking systems. It provides rheology modification, increased hardness and low moisture pick-up. Polarite® 403A is used in polyurethane adhesives for automotive, hybrid polymer sealants and tapes/strips (butyl/PIB).
