WestRez® 5120

WestRez® 5120 by Ingevity is pentaerythritol ester resin. It acts as tackifier. It is present in a consistent bead, low-dust pastille form. It provides wet out, and improved flow ability, better overall tack and adhesion as compared to other hydrocarbon resins. It is used as a tackifier in hot melt and pressure sensitive formulations. WestRez® 5120 offers increased compatibility with adhesive polymers and better adhesive performance and has applications in sealing, pressure sensitive adhesive tapes and labels.
