DBE® 4 esters

Readily biodegradable dibasic ester. Used as a solvent in adhesives, seals and gaskets. Offers very good solvency, high boiling point, low vapor pressure, slow evaporation, high flashpoint, low toxicity and mild odor. Provides compatibility with many plastics including polyethylene, polypropylene, fluorocarbon resins, nylon, and acetal resin, and with elastomers such as silicone, ethylene/propylene rubber, butyl rubber and fluoropolymers.
