Zinc PYRION™ by Janssen PMP acts as an anti-microbial and anti-fouling agent. It exhibits excellent broad-spectrum activity against fungi, algae and bacteria. It is slightly soluble in water and is extremely suitable for applications where low leaching and long-term protection is required. Zinc PYRION™ is used for adhesive, caulks and sealants. Its typical dose levels are up to 0.5% by weight.
