KVIS-30

KVIS-30 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as an adhesion promoter, plasticizer and tackifier. It is a clear, viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade with high molecular weight. It is also used as an extender for silicone oil.
  • It exhibits permanence, aging, low shrinkage, outstanding peel adhesion and cohesion.
  • Offers reduced use of solvents, low oil-to-filler ratio, low moisture vapor transmission rate, good clarity and durability.
  • It provides tack to elastomer-based sealants and is compatible with butyl rubber.
  • Designed for hot-melt adhesives (HMAs) and pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs).
  • KVIS-30 is suitable for use in high performance silicone-based sealants, caulks & putty formulations as an effective replacement for drying oils.
  • It is also used as both primary and secondary sealants in the window-glazing unit.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
