KVIS-30 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as an adhesion promoter, plasticizer and tackifier. It is a clear, viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade with high molecular weight. It is also used as an extender for silicone oil.

It exhibits permanence, aging, low shrinkage, outstanding peel adhesion and cohesion.
Offers reduced use of solvents, low oil-to-filler ratio, low moisture vapor transmission rate, good clarity and durability.
It provides tack to elastomer-based sealants and is compatible with butyl rubber.
Designed for hot-melt adhesives (HMAs) and pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs).
KVIS-30 is suitable for use in high performance silicone-based sealants, caulks & putty formulations as an effective replacement for drying oils.
It is also used as both primary and secondary sealants in the window-glazing unit.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
