ABIETA™ DRS 835 is a sodium salt of dehydrogenated / partially hydrogenated rosin. Acts as a dispersing agent and surfactant. The neutralization is carried out with potassium hydroxide solution. It is is produced as watery paste, which may separate during a longer period of storage. ABIETA™ DRS 835 can be applied in aqueous systems and is soluble in the most organic solvents. Used in polymerization process of styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, polychloroprene and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene plastics. It is suitable for the preparation of pigments and air entraining agents as well as for the adhesive industry to improve properties of adhesives on basis of casein, gluten or polymer dispersions.
