KRATON™ G1702

Kraton™ G1702 by KRATON is styrene-ethylene-propylene (SEP) polymer with di-block structure. It acts as a thickening agent. It provides high level of formulation versatility, high clarity, enhanced product stability and broad range of rheological profiles. It thickens mineral oils, while providing shear thinning behavior. Moreover, it improves film formation, provides elasticity and creates excellent moisture barrier. It performs very well at low temperatures and possesses excellent oil retention. It shows excellent compatibility with variety of oils and can be directly dissolved in heated oil. Kraton™ G1702 finds application in sealants, solvent- and hot-melt based adhesives. Complies with FDA and listed on AICS, Canadian DSL, IECSC, EINECS, Japanese ENCS, KECI, NZIoC, PICCS, NECI and TSCA.
