SYLVATAC™ RE 12

SYLVATAC™ RE 12 by KRATON is a liquid rosin ester which acts as a tackifier. It can be used as a self-emulsifying blend for water-based acrylic polymers. It exhibits low volatility, narrow molecular weight distribution and excellent adhesion to a great variety of substrates due to their polarity. It is compatible with EVA, acrylics, natural rubber, SIS, SBR and SBS. It is also suitable with paraffin, microcrystalline, FT and polyethylene waxes. SYLVATAC™ RE 12 is used in flooring, tapes, labels, contact and pressure sensitive adhesive applications.
