SpeedCure BEDB by Lambson is a 2-butoxyethyl-4-(dimethylamino)benzoate. Acts as a liquid amine synergist. Exhibits good solubilizing properties, low toxicity, low odor and ability to initiate as a single liquid. When used in conjunction with Type II photoinitiators, generates free radicals capable of initiating the rapid photo-polymerization of suitable resin formulations. Will dissolve Speedcure ITX (~25% w/v at 20°C). SpeedCure BEDB by Lambson is used in adhesives. Suggested levels of use are 2 – 5% w/w Speedcure BEDB together with 0.25 – 3% w/w photoinitiator.
