Preventol® BM 5

Preventol® BM 5 by LANXESS is VOC-, CMIT-, formaldehyde-, & solvent-free, in-can preservative based on benzisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone. It offers a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, particularly against bacteria. This additive shows good compatibility, alkaline stability up to approx. pH 10, low salt content and no bivalent metals. Preventol® BM 5 is suitable for synthetic and natural adhesives. It is used for polymer emulsions for the production of building materials for indoor use. The shelf life of this product is 1 year.
