LAVIOTHIX® DP1

LAVIOTHIX® DP1 by Laviosa Minerals is a high performance, purified smectite (98% montmorillonite) grade. Acts as a rheology modifier for water-borne formulations. Offers a great pseudoplastic behaviour and thixotropy with efficiency. Provides stability and viscosity control. It can be incorporated as aqueous pregel at 10 - 12 %wt. Shows gel formation properties at low or high shear. LAVIOTHIX® DP1 will hydrate when added to water. Used in adhesive applications. Complies with ISO 9001 regulation. Its shelf life is 12 months.
